World Environment Day 2025 Celebration at RKLFRC

On the occasion of World Environment Day 2025, Ramkrishna Law Firm and Research Centre (RKLFRC) proudly organized a landmark event on 5th June 2025, reaffirming its commitment to environmental awareness and legal scholarship.

The event commenced with a warm welcome address by Mr. Akshay Yadav, Co-founder of RKLFRC, who highlighted the critical role of environmental consciousness in contemporary legal discourse.

The keynote address was delivered by Dr. Rangaswamy D. Nayak, Assistant Professor of Law (SG), Karnataka State Law University, Hubballi. Dr. Nayak shared deep insights on the legal and policy frameworks essential for environmental protection, and formally unveiled the cover page of RKLFRC’s upcoming edited volume on environmental legal scholarship (ISBN: 978-93-343-1322).

A major highlight of the event was the Article Writing Competition, themed “Sustainability in Environmental Policy and Legal Reforms: Building a Greener Future for Generations.” The winners were announced as follows:

• 1st Position: Abhirupa Ghosh

• 2nd Position: Ravi S. Kumbar

Advocate Baburao Yadav, Founder of RKLFRC, delivered a compelling address urging for ethical environmental stewardship, reminding attendees that, “The environment does not need us; we need the environment.”

The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Mr. Murali G. Manjarekar, Senior Researcher at RKLFRC, who appreciated the valuable contributions of all guests, speakers, and participants.

This celebration not only served as an educational platform but also a call to action—emphasizing the urgent need for robust legal reforms and sustainable practices to ensure a greener, more just future.
