We are proud to share that the Ramkrishna Law Firm and Research Centre (RKLFRC) in collaboration with Dr. D.Y. Patil Law College, Pimpri, Pune organized International Model United Nations (MUN) 2025 on 11th and 12th March 2025.
The International Model United Nations (MUN), conducted over two impactful days, proved to be an enriching simulation of the United Nations, providing a dynamic platform for students to explore diplomacy, international policymaking, and public speaking. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation, showcasing the spirit of collaboration, critical thinking, and leadership among future changemakers.
Event Overview
A total of 54 delegates, representing countries across five prestigious UN committees, actively engaged in deliberations on pressing global challenges. The committees included:

Each committee hosted 10 members, ensuring focused and substantial debates. The sessions were guided by a dedicated Executive Board of 12 members, supported by 45 dynamic student volunteers who managed the event logistics with remarkable efficiency.
Day 1 Highlights
The inaugural session commenced with a Welcome Address by Principal Dr. S.S. Gopakumar, who also felicitated the Chief Guest, Dr. Parimal Maya Sudhakar, Assistant Professor at MIT World Peace University, Pune.
Dr. Vijeta Chaudhary introduced the guest, recognizing Dr. Sudhakar’s significant contributions to international relations and academia. Following the inauguration, all five committees commenced their structured discussions, moderated by the Executive Board.
Day 2 Highlights
Day Two began with the introduction of Chief Guest Prof. Dr. (Capt.) Chandrashekhar Madhu Sudhan Chitale, by Asst. Prof. Arjun Somvanshi. Dr. Chitale’s insightful presence further elevated the quality of discourse and participation.
The day featured intense committee negotiations, culminating in the drafting and presentation of resolutions, reflecting the delegates’ thorough research, teamwork, and diplomatic acumen.
The event concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks by Asst. Prof. Sagar Verma, acknowledging the valuable contributions of the Chief Guests, Executive Board, volunteers, delegates, and organizers.
